Forum Header_Background - Can't Change, Won't Save?

Hi,

I've made a clone of my form skin which is basically the stock skin with a few colour changes, and I want to add a slight variation to a sub forum. So, I loaded up the clone as a completely new style, named it v2, allowed user selection and got to work.

The logo shows, no problem, but whatever I do, the header_background stylevar will not change, it always reverts to the main forum image.

My question is, why does the new logo show up, and why doesn't the header_background show up? I see lots of people posting the same question, but I don't see a fix.

I'm on 4.0.3 at the moment and was waiting for 4.0.6 or the next security update before I upgraded, but if this issue is fixed, I'll jump in now.

Edit: By the way, it's not a browser caching issue, it does it even with a flushed cache on different browsers.

I updated to 4.0.5, but still no luck.

Turns out that disabling VBSEO and then re-enabling it fixes the issue.

vbseo doesn't cache anything related to your style. You likely just needed to run the bitfields rebuild tool. Enabeling vbseo just happens to do this also (as does disable/re-enablling any product)

It was Zachary Woods at Vbulletin that suggested that VBSEO was the problem. I've forwarded your response to him, hopefully we can find some kind of solution today
