Google reporting errors with the site map generated

I did a search but couldn't find an answer so sorry if I missed that...

I have my vBulletin in Pixalo Photo Community and my review section is at Pixalo Photographic Equipment Reviews - Main Index - I have added several urls (one per line) to my extra-urls.txt for the review section, and this is what I believe is causing the problems. The strange thing is that I have also added urls that point to my gallery section (same directory level - Pixalo Photo Gallery - Main Index -) but Google does not seem to have any problems with that?

sitemap_1.xml.gz (10 errors all linking to /reviews/ then different sub-pages)
    sitemap_index.xml.gz (1 error again linking to /reviews)

    Reported error

URL not allowed (Line 13) with URL Pixalo Photographic Equipment Reviews - Main Index - This url is not allowed for a Sitemap at this location.

I have probably missed something simple here, how do I correct this to get it to work without errors and still have the links in the sitemap?

    Cheers

EDIT. I am sorry I posted this in bugs by mistake when it should be in troubleshooting, someone feel free to move it please

    Hello Pixalo,

the sitemap file should be located in the same folder or above the included URLs.
You should move your sitemaps to the root level, as described here: Sitemap in www root

Thanks for the reply Oleg but in the link you have kindly provided it appears that I shouldn't be moving the sitemaps at all, but altering my .htaccess file at root level. I have added the re-write rule supplied in the other thread by Keith, substituting my 'community' for 'forums' .
Is that correct and do I now submit my site map url as http://pixalo.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz

Thanks again for taking the time to help

Yes, it's not moving of the files, but moving of URLs

    You should submit:
    Code:
    http://www.pixalo.com/sitemap_1.xml.gz
    http://www.pixalo.com/sitemap_2.xml.gz
    http://www.pixalo.com/sitemap_3.xml.gz
    http://www.pixalo.com/sitemap_4.xml.gz
because your sitemap index file still have links community/ for individual sitemap files.
