Yahoo Ping not successful
My Yahoo ping has been showing up as unsuccessful more and more frequently. Can anyone tell me what I should look for to solve the communications problem, or is the report not that serious? How can I be sure they are updating my site when I ping them so I can disregard this?

My site was already registered and authenticated. It says Feeds=1, Actions=0 Active (what is that?)

An example of "Action" is "Delete URL/Path" (can be applied to authenticated websites).

O.K., so is there a way to verify my site is being properly looked at by Yahoo? The ping failure doesn't happen all the time, but here is a good one:

Forum Display: 238
Show Thread: 8224
Show Post: 53284
Member Profiles: 790
Poll Results: 56
Archive: 78

Total Indexed URLs: 62724
Total Processing Time: 17.70 seconds

Google ping: Successful.
Yahoo ping: Successful.

Here is a bad one:

Forum Display: 239
Show Thread: 8237
Show Post: 53410
Member Profiles: 793
Poll Results: 56
Archive: 78

Total Indexed URLs: 62867
Total Processing Time: 15.71 seconds

Google ping: Successful.
Yahoo ping: FAILED.

So, anything to be worried about here?

I'm guessing it has more to do with Yahoo than with the webmaster. I haven't had a failed ping since I posted the above.
