XML Parsing Error

i am getting this error XML Parsing Error: not well-formed

I cannot open http://www.unitedpunjab.co.uk/ URL.

Please try to re-generate sitemap. Make sure that all files in vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder have 0666 permissions set.

i tried re-generating couple of times.Data folder is 777

Please try to modify your vbseo_getsitemap.php file
FIND:

        if($ext=='gz' && ($umatch[1] || !strstr($_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING'],'gzip')) ) 


replace with:

PHP Code:

        if($ext=='gz') 


Still getting the same errors.

I'm getting 404 not found error for http://www.unitedpunjab.co.uk/sitemap_index.xml.gz now.

i was trying to fix something,i have a problem with VBSEO.opening up a support ticket.

sitemap_index.xml.gz is opened correctly for me now.

That problem can wait,please check the support ticket i just submitted.

Do you still have an error? As I mentioned, it works for me now.

oops,Browsers were showing the cached sitemaps.I downloaded via ftp and everything seems fine.
i guess the solution in post #6 did the trick.
