XML Parsing error..

Everything runs fine, but when I go to my sitemap;

I get this in browser:
Quote:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://legacygamers.net/sitemap_index.xml.gz
Line Number 1, Column 1:
sitemap location is there.

any idea?

also google webmaster tools said that the .html I uploaded that it told me to, isn't found, when I can browse to it perfectly fine. But when I remove htaccess it verifies correctly.
