It appears to be the same.

I am not sure exactly what the problem is. My home page is cmps. I have a link to my disclaimer page in the footer navbar.
The link works on the home page link this:

http://thisdarncar.com/index.php?page=disclaimer
But, after I get to my disclaimer page which is also cmps. I get 404 error if I use the same link from the footer navbar. But, the weird thing is the page that gets 404 error is:

http://thisdarncar.com/index-disclaimer.html
So the rewrite is actually rewriting the url, but the page isn't actually there. And my home page works but the rewrite doesn't.

? I'm not sure.

For anyone that was following this thread. It appears the problem was my .htaccess files after I installed joomla on another domain name under the same account. Some how the files were working against each other.

The fix was to redo the the .htaccess file for my forum domain & place

RewriteEngine off
In the .htaccess file under the joomla domain.
