    Where my sitemap file?

    Hi,

I try to upload my sitemap.xml in to my google webamster account but google told me that the file is not fount. I put my sitemap files in forum/vbseo_sitemap/data/ but google bot can not find it.

My question is that should I download and upload the sitemap file in to my website or forum root directory?

    Thanks

    Re: Where my sitemap file?

    Hi,

the files to submit to Google are:
    http://yourforumsroot/sitemap_index.xml.gz
    http://yourforumsroot/sitemap_1.xml.gz
    etc

    (without vbseo_sitemap/data/ part)

    Hi,

I see that you have non-vB URL included at line 26 (modules.php?mop=modload&file=index&name=Downloads ). I suppose you have added it with extra-urls.txt?
If so, you should replace "&" with "&" like this:
    modules.php?mop=modload&file=index&name=Do wnloads

    Re: Where my sitemap file?

    Hi,

you should include it exactly the same as links mentioned above, i.e. "&" is always replaced with "&" in the links:
    local_links.php?action=links&catid=2

    Thanks!
I did not included the url of this addon in my extra-urls.txt. Because its url is in site forum ddirectory it is automaticcally added to the site map. Is there any way to exclude it?

    Re: Where my sitemap file?

    Ok!

I figured out the reason why this happened: I have some forum link to the local link directory. I fixed it by excluded the forum IDs and It works well now!

    Thanks a gain
