    Warning: vbseo_sitemap_task

Sorry for the post folks but I've spent more than an hour searching for these particular errors but haven't found anything so far.

I just installed vbseo_sitemap-2-0 today and all seemed to go without a hitch. Everything was uploaded in Binary and vbseo_sitemap/data is at 777 and files within are 666.

I made very few changes to the overall config with the exception of excluding my member profile pages, receive e-mail notifications and added a password.

I tried to generate the first sitemap manually (even though its configured to run @ 2 by default with VBSEO 3.0.0) and received the following error messages:

    vbseo_sitemap_task

Warning: main(/home/lifesupp/public_html/forums/./vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /admincp/cronadmin.php on line 110

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/lifesupp/public_html/forums/./vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /admincp/cronadmin.php on line 110
    Done

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

the vbseo site map doesn't need to be uploaded in binary mode, try reuploading with AUTO mode.

    Thanks for the tip.

Just tried it and it didn't seem to make any difference though. Sad part is that it's likely something simple that will only help make me look like a bigger idiot than I think I am.

I've tried to access the above from mysite.com/forums/vbseo_sitemap/ and only re-direct to my main page.

Did you upload vBSEO Sitemap Generator files into vbseo_sitemap/ folder?

    If you're referring to:

    extra-urls.txt
    index.php
    vbseo_getsitemap.php
    vbseo_sitemap.php
    vbseo_sitemap_config.php
    vbseo_sitemap_functions.php
    vbseo_sm_cofig30x.php

    ...then the answer is yes.

OK now, for whatever reason, I got it working and I wish I knew why. All I did to fix the issue was completely un-install the product and re-insall/re-configure the sitemap as I had previously. Maybe it had something to do with first uploading in Binary Mode and files not being overwritten on my second attempt in Auto, maybe something else, I don't know.

Either way, I can now finally login to my sitemap CP and have successfully run a manual "Run Now" from the "Scheduled Task Manager".

    Thanks for the help.
