vbseo sitemap generator taking up all the resources

I am getting an internal server which look like

"Process limit exceeded for uid 11397 [24 >= 24]."

vbseo sitemap generator is taking up all the resources which causes this error. So i was wondering is there anyway NOT to let the sitemap generate by its own, but just make it run from the vbseo CP when ever i want(almost once in a day or 2).

the scheduled task should be removed i guess. I also don't know y its causing such a heavy load on server resources.

Make sure you have a MINUTE chosen for the scheduled task. If you have it set to * it will try to run every minute of the chosen hour.

Its been set to set run only on particular hr and minute of everyday, but still i get the same internal server error. I would like to disable the scheduled task and let it run from the vbseo sitemap CP when ever i want.

Even having a minute set.. I will occasionally receive multiple Sitemap Generation emails... 10 in a row one night, from one of my sites.

is there any solution?

the sitemap generator is eating up all my resources. I would like to disable it running by itself rather than getting an internal server error.
