vBlog urls in sitemap (2.2) throwing errors in Google?

When I went to review the sitemap results in Google Webmaster tools I ran into a few problems. One is that it's seeing a *lot* of blog urls showing up in the sitemap as:
Code:
http://www.oursite.com/forums/blogs/%user_name%/thank-you-eva-garden-185/
Which is obviously a bad link... For some reason the sitemap doesn't seem to be dropping the user name in as it should?

The other thing was when I tried to upload the sitemap directly by providing the full path:
/forums/vbseo_sitemap/data/sitemap_1.xml.gz
I got an access forbidden error. Should we just totally avoid uploading them manually and let the VBSEO sitemap cron take care of it? Just trying to clarify that as it's something we've always been a bit vague on.

Are you using a Standard URL Format or have you modified it any?

Also, when submitting your sitemap, you should only submit:

http://www.yoursite.com/forums/sitemap_index.xml.gz

That contains the index to any/all sitemaps that are generated.

It looks like a non-existing entry, possibly transferred from other Blog mod.
Please try this modification in vbseo_sitemap_functions.php file:
FIND:
PHP Code:
               FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "blog
               WHERE state
'visible'
REPLACE WITH:
PHP Code:
               FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "blog
               WHERE state
'visible' AND userid>AND username!=''

Thanks Oleg/Keith! You're our heros again...

I think you're dead right about where those entries in the sitemap were coming from, they're orphan records created by the blog migration. I made that change, recreated the sitemap and ran though it and the bad entries are gone.

Now I've just got to figure out the best way to clean up the orphan records, but that's my problem .

Sitemap uploaded to Google Webmaster tools successfully, so hopefully we'll get a lot of the glitches ironed out. Thanks again!
