Red face Upgrading vBulletin - shall I disabled vBSEO?

    Hello,

I'll soon be upgrading my forum from 3.6.7 to 3.7.4 (latest). I've vBSEO 3.1 installed.

I want to know if should disable vBSEO when I upgrade the forums? Or shall I just follow the normal vBulletin upgrade procedure?

Would you recommend upgrading to vBSEO 3.2 before or after I upgrade vBulletin?

    no need to disable.

if you have any problems, simply re-name the htaccess file to something else while you're upgrading.

    Do vb upgrade first
    then do vbseo 3.2 upgrade.

    Hi Guys,

I have no clue what I am doing and I am worried I really messed up my forum. I had VBSEO installed on my forum in May of 2007. I was running VB version 3.6.5 for the past year with no problems. I was also running a portal according to VB support.

I decided to upgrade to VB 3.7.4 this weekend. Like an idiot, I followed the instructions from VB without thinking about my plugins and addons, etc. I basically just FTPed and overwrote every file in my forum with the new 3.7.4 files. Now when I try to access my forum I get a blank white page. I cant access my admin panel or anything.

Any clue on what I did wrong? Thanks!

If you are getting the blank index page, but login to admin panel is okay; just disable all other plugins. The forum should work fine.

Also refer to 'while pages' page in vBulletin manual.

    Thanks.

Here is the error I get instead of the blank white page now

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: () in /home/content/b/r/a/brad7341/html/forexnewstrade/forum/includes/config.php on line 47
