Is There a vBSEO Manual

The manual is built in to the CP. next to each option there is a help blurb that tells what it does and gives an example of its useage if necessary.

If you are uncertain about what anything does, feel free to ask.

When I click on the
vBSEO Sitemap Reports Tab this is what I see:

At the very top in a red box it says: the folder is not writable, make sure that it has 0777 permissions

When I click "Run Generator" it gives about 3 pages of "Warning" messages.

I don't know what this means but it doesn't look good.

This means that your data folders to write are not writable, so the sitemap can't 'print out' the files to the server.Go to

/vbseo_sitemap/
in your ftp client, right flick on the data sub folder

You should see a menu called permissions or CHMOD. go into there and type in 777 of check the boxes so all 3 are read/write/execute enabled.

This should clear all of your errors out and it should be able to run.

Unfortunately I'm not that adept at much technical beyond turning on the computer and pointing and clicking. I paid the $79 to have vBSEO installed. Should this have been done during that install or is this a user responsibility?

Thanks Andres! Btw, I see where the Yahoo submit "FAILED". Does Yahoo not take submissions or do I need to do something so they will be nicer to me?

Yahoo has recently disabled their ping service on their end.
