    Submitting Site Map to google

After submitting it to google i received this WARNING in a few days.
    Code:
    URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL.
    HTTP Error:301 (Moved permanently
Then it shows me links to three threads. When i click on it seems fine.
    What the problem?

    Hello Chad ,

Make sure you disable the following options in vBSEO Sitemap Generator options
    • Include Old urls
    • Include Showpost Pages
    • Include Archive Pages

After disabling these , you need to manually delete all your existing sitemap files and re generate them.

Yes, once you have made the changes, delete all .gz files in your vbseo_sitemap/data folder, manually regenerate, and then resubmit.

Yes, also that file. To regenerate, you can go to yoursite.com/vbseo_sitemap/ then login, and then click generate.

That is normal when you remove all of the bloat.

Hello, it appears as though those are still including the old style URLs. Be sure that you remove EVERY file ending in .xml.gz (sitemap_index, sitemap_1, sitemap_2, etc) from your vbseo_sitemap/data folder.

That should not matter. If you did the above steps, and it is still throwing that error, please open a ticket with ftp, and admincp access so we can look into it.
