Looks like they change their URL and didn't 301 it correctly. Bad search engine :P

Do we need to update v3.0 some how to make sure it's automatically getting through?

No, the ping url is still the same. just the info page is different. You shouldn't have to ever submit manually.

When I check my Details page I see:

Search Engines Pings

• Google Successful
• Bing FAILED
• Yahoo Successful
• Ask Successful

So it seems that auto submission to bing fails.

Bing seems to have broken for all non-US traffic as of late. The issue is with Bing internally or network related.
