sitemap_index.xml.gz is missing

This is a discussion on sitemap_index.xml.gz is missing within the Troubleshooting forums, part of the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap category; inside vbseo_sitemap/data folder the program outputs those files sitemap.txt.gz sitemap_1.xml.gz sitemap_2.xml.gz .. .. sitemap_32.xml.gz but there is no sitemap_index.xml which ...

    sitemap_index.xml.gz is missing

    inside vbseo_sitemap/data folder the program outputs those files

    sitemap.txt.gz
    sitemap_1.xml.gz
    sitemap_2.xml.gz
    ..
    ..
    sitemap_32.xml.gz


    but there is no sitemap_index.xml which for what i saw searching is the xml index. any idea what i'm doing wrong?

    Hello,

    you could try to increase memory_limit setting in your php configuration, perhaps your sitemap generation is incomplete.
