If you're using vBSEO Sitemap, the URL would be:
http://www.test.com/forums/sitemap_index.xml.gz
thanks. but it has an error.

This Sitemap has the following errors.

Unsupported file format
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.
Go to the URL in your browser and you will see the error. It looks like you don't have the proper permissions set on your vbseo_sitemap/data directory.
so what's the permission settings? 777?
ow the directory is already set to 777..
Make sure the directory, all files, and all sub-directories and files are also set to 777.
Then, delete any sitemap_* files from the data directory and re-generate your sitemaps using the option on the vBSEO Sitemap menu (don't run the task from the Task Scheduler)
so thats all the files udner /data/ eh? what about the log files?
thanks!
Also, make sure that downloads.dat file inside data/ folder has 0666 permissions.

Try to remove/rename it then. This file is set to 644, it cannot be changed to 666.

Oleg, i dont udnerstand. I can delete the 13kb downloads.dat file?
How will it be regenerated?
That file contains the log of sitemap download requests, it will be started from the scratch if deleted.
