Sitemap stopped working after upgrade :(

Okay i was using sitemap 2.5 till recently on my vb3.8.6 board. I don't know what got over me but i decided to upgrade on 2.6beta2 version and since the upgrade my sitemap won't run on its own anymore, i will get no more emails saying Sitemap Updated for my site anymore.

I have to login to my ACP and run the sitemap generator manually, only after doing so i get an email claiming that my sitemap has been updated. Is it supposed to behave like that or some new feature was added in 2.6 which i need to look up ?? Oh and I'm running php 5.3.3 if that makes any difference. Would appreciate some light on this problem

You need to use vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.6 beta 2 as 2.5 is not compatible with vBSEO 3.5 versions.

Umm i am using 2.6 now(I upgraded from 2.5 version) as i said above~ It's not automatically generating the sitemaps and i have to do it manually via ACP as i said above.

Make sure you have a scheduled task in your adminCP. You need to import the product with over-write in most cases.

If it still doesn't generate fully, it's likely timing out when being run by the system, and you will need to adjust wait_timeout, memory_limit, or other php/mysql service variables to let it complete.

The thing is i see two scheduled tasks for sitemaps now one is called "vBSEO Sitemap Generator" while the other is called "vBSEO - Create Google/Yahoo Sitemap" i have disabled the later one as i used to get two emails with v2.5 if i let them both run. Am I supposed to let both of them run at the same time ?

Hmm i can check those, but the thing is they worked perfectly fine when i was using v2.5. This all started once i upgraded to v2.6, plus it works perfectly fine when i manually generate the sitemaps in ACP i get the email and it completes normally too.

Edit: and yes i did it import with over-write ticked

Delete both, and then re-import the product. It will re-crate the correct one.

Hmm okay i get no option to delete the one saying "vBSEO Sitemap Generator" Only Enable and Disable, so I just uninstalled the Sitemap plugin and re-imported it now. I have deleted the other scheduled task already.

So now i only have "vBSEO Sitemap Generator" in my Scheduled Tasks. I'll let it run today and see if it auto creates or not. I did not make any changes to my htaccess file i'm assuming i don't need to do so with 2.6 as it's same, am i right?
