    Sitemap show thread adds 20 seconds

    If I select yes for "Include Show Thread Pages" then 20 seconds are added to the sitemap generation time. I have 4,000 threads.

    Can anything be done?

    It takes time to obtain your thread details from database and include the URLs in sitemap (perhaps you have also enabled "showpost" pages in the options).

    I have a site that takes over 200 seconds total for the sitemap to generate. What's the total time for yours?

    Total is about 30 seconds. I do have showpost also enabled.

    What is the best recommendation? Disable showpost or showthread? or enable both? How often should the cron job run?

    wow, I wish mine was 30 seconds. I'm up to ~400 w/ a dual xeon 2gb ram

    I disabled showpost pages and changed my post per page from 10 to 30. The site map is now generated in 9 seconds.
