Exclamation Sitemap Problem... Please help me...

Hi to all... I have a problem... My vB v. = 3.6.8 and my seo v. = 3.1.0 ... My vB has been installed in root directory.(/public_html/index.php) There isn't /sitemap/ directory in root directory but My topic urls are like http://www.sitename.com/example-topic-subject.html and my sitemaps urls are like http://www.sitename.com/sitemap/f-1.html ... Now, my topic urls are working but sitemaps urls aren't working... :( What should I do, Please Help Me...

Hello,

you're not showing as a customer. Please get ahold of a staff member to assign your license to your user account.


To your question, i think you are confusing two things.
1) this is the sitemap generator forum. The sitemap generates XML to submit to the search engines in the portals (ie, google.com/webmasters)

2) the /sitemap/ style URL is actually the vBulletin archive re-written. in that respect, i would suggest reading this: Why the vBulletin archive is useless and counterproductive

right, there isn't.

/sitemap/ is an optional re-write of /archive/.


Until you've benn verified as a legit customer, i won't be helping any further.
