    Dan,

if you're using httpd.conf for vBSEO rewrite rules instead of .htaccess, then you should update it according to the latest vBSEO2.2.0.

Execute the sitemap generator (and setup scheduled execution at vB's admincp) and you will see when googlebot downloads your sitemap at the "vbseo_sitemap/" interface page.

Dan, you will see the entries in sitemap downloads log if you have .htaccess directives setup correctly. You may try this by accessing your vbroot/sitemap_index.xml.gz frm the browser.

Please note: if you have your vBSEO rewrite rules defined in httpd.conf (instead of .htaccess), then sitemap hack related directives should be added to httpd.conf as well.
