    Sitemap location

I have the sitemap generator installed and in the CP it shows my sitemap location as http://www.bikerforum.co.uk/sitemap_index.xml.gz

But it isnt there, it is showing in the data folder though. I am running vbadvanced in the root with the forum located in The Biker Forum - Run by Bikers for Bikers

    VBseo is located here http://www.bikerforum.co.uk/forums/vbseo_sitemap/data

What am I doing wrong here?

Thank you for the quick response Briansol. Thats true but why does it show it that way? I keep getting automated emails from here saying I haven't got it installed and shouldn't it be in the site root?

Didn't you have "Sitemap Files URL" setting in vBSEO Sitemap Generator options? (it's recommended to keep it empty)

Google says you should put the sitemaps in the domain root anyway, so what I did was create a sitemap index in my domain root, and refer to the sitemap in the forum directory in there.
