    sitemap install problem VB 3.0.7

    I have uploaded the files and made the changes in the configuation file (vbseo_sm_config30x.php) as directed, but I can't run the script to create the map either directly or via the scheduler.

    The error I get is

    Cannot run sitemap generator directly: you should set "Run from vB Scheduled Tasks Manager ONLY" to "No" in admincp to allow this

    I have changed the option 'vbseo_sm_crononly' to 'No' but this does not seem to have any effect.

    Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

    You should define the password in config file (vbseo_sm_runcode option).

    I have that option set, and I can get into the sitemap menu. But when I try to 'Run Sitemap Generator' I get a page not found error;

    Although the page file is there on the server and I have re-uploaded it couple of times.

    Please ignore my error, looks like I had two versions of the version 2.0 zip file, with different content, I did a clean reinstall and looks lot better this time.

    Do you have any add-on defined in the options? If yes, try to remove them. Otherwise, please check the html source of the error page for the specific db error message.

    I don't have an add-ons defined, it looks like a missing table;

    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT t_threadid,count(*) as cnt
    FROM vbxyz_linkback
    GROUP BY t_threadid

    mysql error: Table xxxx.vbxyz_linkback' doesn't exist

    Please try to disable all "Incoming linkback" options in vbseocp (they are not supported in vB3.0.x anyway).

    Thanks, that has fixed it.

    But I see from the created sitemap, that it only did the members.

    The file is here http://www.turkishliving.com/forums/...p_index.xml.gz

    Are your subforums open for guests?

    Most of the forums and sub-forums are open to guests, I have a few that are only open to members.
