Sitemap includes private forum

Hi,
i just took a look at the created sitemap xml file and it includes our forum only for moderators and admins ...!?
In the vbulletin cpadmin I entered for this forum "no" under the issue "show private forum".

In the forum it is not visible for everyone only for admins and moderators but it is included in the sitemap xml ...!?

Do I have to tell the programm anywhere else that it is a private forum?
The Sitemap settings say, that private forums are not includes by default.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Harald

Have you added the excluded forum id's to the sitemap generator settings?

Indeed.

There is no 'Exclude Private Forums' option within vBSEO Sitemap settings.. are you using version 2.0?

Ok thanks, thought I tried this ...
Maybe I entered something wrong ...!?
Where do I see the forum id? I searched for it in vbulletin admincp and the only id I found was the display no of the forum.
Is this the ID I have to enter in the excluded forum list?

Our mod forum has display # 2 and is private and only admins and moderators have the rights to show the posts.

Yesterday I opened the XML-file the sitemap has created and copied one URL of our mod forum to the browser. It works, but you have to enter name and passsword to show the thread.
This is also ok, but better is to avoid crawling google through this forum, because not all of the things are for the public.

Thank you

Regards Harald

You can see the forumid's by going into your forum manager in your admincp. Highlight over the forum name, and in the link it should show at the end: f=x where X is a number, and it is your forumid.

I seem to have the same problem, but was wondering why we would need to enter the private forums (it's another thing on the todo list), when the inline help clearly states:
Quote:
Specify the forum ID for all forums that you do NOT wish to be included in your sitemaps. Note that private forums are NOT included within the default generated sitemaps.

NOTE: Separate multiple forum IDs with spaces.

No, there should be no issues with 2.2.
