Sitemap generator works except for archives and members

I am using Sitemap v3.0

I just had a look at our stats in webmaster tools and see that the sitemap generator is working nicely for the for the most part - the threads are being indexed, but I noticed google is not finding the archives and members...

/board/sitemap_archive_1.xml.gz and

/board/sitemap_member_1.xml.gz

are 404ing.

When I looked at the directory on the server I find those files have not been created by sitemap. Is there any reason for that? We do have them selected to be created in the sitemap admin CP.

How can we sort it out so they will be created?

If you have a big board you should directly create your sitemap files within a crontask job on server base. Please check readme.html for more details

Also note that the sitemap will only include public URLs. If these areas are closed to guests, they will not be included.

Our archives and members are open to guests. I had my admin guy follow Mert's direction and the archive and members maps were created. We are going to keep an eye on the cron job to see how it does in the next week.
