Sitemap Generator Never Finishes

It finished once (4,665.47 seconds for 4,073,823 urls) but never again, doesn't matter if i schedule it for 2AM or i run it manually. /data folder does get updates but the sitemap index never updates.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated~!

you should remove some bloat. You shouldn't have more than 8 -10 files and under 200 secs of run time.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing.

I will follow briansol's guide as well, but this used to work fine.
