Sitemap Generation time

I've noticed since I upgrade to 2.4 that it takes my server almost twice as long to generate maps.

Here is last night's:

Total Indexed URLs: 66951
Total Processing Time: 38.26 seconds

Here is last week's:

Total Indexed URLs: 66207
Total Processing Time: 23.21 seconds

Hmmm.. but I haven't changed the cron so it is running that the same time as it was before. I have to think it's the upgrade as my logs show it went up the night I upgraded and it has stayed up.
