| Sitemap Errors
I am using sitemap version 2.1 and have vbseo 3.1.0 installed. I was looking at my Google Webmaster tools today and saw some sitemap errors: Compression error Error with Sitemap compression. Please recompress the file and resubmit When I try to view my sitemap I get this error: The XML page cannot be displayed Last edited by reefland; 06-17-2008 at 03:44 PM.       |

Hi Oleg, I think I have it. I tried to re-run the sitemap and still couldn't get the .xml to open. After some research it appears that I had some permissions wrong (due to some server work) and the sitemap file was actually not being overwritten. I deleted the files that were there and re-ran the sitemap and all appears to be fine now. I'll watch google webmaster for a few days and make sure the errors clear but I am sure they will as I can now view the files.
