Sitemap error "Invalid URL"

This is strange. Google tells me that it doesn't like sitemap_10.xml.gz because of an invalid url:

http:///blogs/
It resolves to https://google.com/blogs/ if I hover over it

I've scoured sitemap settings and vbseo settings to see where I have /blogs/ set wrong, (I haven't changed anything from default) but am coming up empty. What next?

This is a known bug with 2.5 + 3.5 rc2. I would suggest disabling blogs from your sitemap for the time being.

Disabled everything to do with blogs in sitemap settings and I'm still getting the same error. I've deleted everything out of my data folder to make sure I was doing a clean generate.

What else should I try?

Webmasters tools is not real time. It may take a day or two to drop the error.

I'm getting the same error; just installed vbSEO today and already have v2.5 of the sitemap generator installed.

Change your sitemap generator to the settings in this thread : vBSEO Sitemap Generator : Quality vs Quantity

In other words, disable blog tag page submission? That's the only blog-related difference in the settings you link to.

If you changed your settings like the above thread, Then it should works fine, You will need to remove all .gz files located in vbseo_sitemap/data folder then manually re-generate your sitemap again.
