    Make sure the log file is writable (vbseo_sitemap/data/downloads.dat) (666).

    if you load the sitemap manually in your browser, it should record a hit.

    Open your sitemap_index.xml.gz in a browser, and see if it records a hit.

    I opened the file with your browser: http://www.hardwaregame.it/forum/vbs...p_index.xml.gz
    Inside I find the file:sitemap_index.xml

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://www.hardwaregame.it/forum/vbseo_sitemap/data/vbseo_sitemap/sitemap.xsl"?>

    Yes, now go back to the sitemap reports area and see if your 'hit' was logged.

    You may not be able to set chmod via your ftp client. You may need to do it via your host file manager.

    I do not think Brian, I have always done. Keep in mind that I can safely change the permissions of the config file vBSEO.
    Before it worked before the upgrade I deleted the log file in the directory HIT, since then no longer worked.

    Hello Alessandro ,

    Chmod permissions are handled via UID and User group on Server level. That has nothing to do with vBSEO

    Hello Mert,
    I expressed myself badly.
    I meant that usually change the permissions of files in my ftp space, and then I should not have a problem to change that too.

    Try deleting (or renaming) the downloads.dat file so the system will create a new one.
