In my Sitemap Downloads Log Google was downloading it everyday.

Just checked it and it stopped on the 15th.

It hasn't been downloaded since, yet it was doing so everyday.

Its been 5 days since the last download.

Any ideas if this is a problem or not?

Check your Google Webmaster account. Does it show any problems with your sitemap?

I dont have one as it refuses to validate using the upload file method, it did before i got vBulletin, i cannot remember the message why.

I did try adding the code method but dont know where to add it.

This is their message.

OK fixed, Google says it last downloaded it 8 minutes ago.

So why it doesn't show this in my vBseo logs is a mystery...

To be honest I'm not that bothered. As long as its working.

You need to choose the option in vBSEO Control Panel to send a 404 error message on page not found, instead of redirecting to the forum home page. That should correct that message.

Also, check out this thread. A customer 404 is way better than the standard one you get.

Create a Custom vBulletin "404 Page Not Found" Page, and direct vBSEO to use it.

Ok so this is bothering me now.

In my VBSEO CP in the Sitemaps download log it says my sitemap was last accessed on 15 april 07.

This is since upgrading to gold and sitemap 2.0.

I need this fixed please.

Try to manually resubmit sitemap in google webmaster account.

In my Google webmaster account it says the sitemap is being downloaded.

I'd prefer though that the sitemap 2.0 worked as it was intended.

Do you have multiple pages of Download Logs? Make sure you're looking at the last page.
