showpost removed, but still being included?
vBSEO Google / Yahoo Sitemap for vBulletin

I disabled the showpost export in the site map, but google still seems to be picking it up for some reason. Any ideas?

Hello Brian,

sitemap is only one of the ways for SE crawlers to find new pages and they still can find your showpost URLs with "normal" crawling of your forums.

I turned off URL rewrites for showpost, and have showpost.php excluded via robots.txt.
