Show SE Bots Activity Log - not showing anything?

    Hi folks,

I just noticed that the link : Show SE Bots Activity Log in my sitemap report doesn't show any activity. I know that is not possible because there are bots all over my forum all the time. I am not sure what is the problem. The other links show lots of information. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    BD

    Hello,

make sure that you have SE bots logging option enabled in vBSEO CP.

Hi. I believe it is enabled. Here is a screen shot.

Is this the setting you are talking about?
    6.gif

And here is a shot of what I get in the Activity Log: Notice the last date - 12 -30 2007??
    5.gif

I re-installed the VBSEO sitemap generator yesterday when I noticed the problem. I am running 3.7.0 gold and VBSEO 3.2.0 RC7.

The Reports List works fine and so does the Sitemap Downloads Log.
The "Show SE BOTS ACTIVITY LOG" doesn't appear to work for some reason and has not since 1-15, 2007. It has 18 pages of nothing. When I click view details, it displays :

    Thanks for your help.

I am not sure, but I think I found the problem. My Sitemap >> data >> hits folder is set at 0666. I *think* it would have to be 0777. Is this right?

    Thanks,

Yes! That is what the problem was. Folders must be 0777 - files can be 0666. Hope this helps someone else.

    Thanks,

well, I have the same problem, but unfortunately all is proper set
AND working before - in fact, it worked some minutes ago flawlessly,

I just "by accident" was online and saw how suddenly nothing was
    shown anymore for today!

After I checked the logfile, it came to my attention that it was
480kb big! Maybe this is the culprit here, maybe they script cant handle
    logfiles big like this?

Possibly the file is corrupted, you can rename it to reset the log.

Perhaps PHP (un)serialize function limitation affected it.
