Search engines not being pinged

Hi there,

I have updated my VBSEO and Sitemap generator to their latest versions.

I noticed that when sitemaps are generated the search engines are not pinged/notified anymore. They were being pinged while I had previous versions of VBSEO 3.0(ioncube) and the older version of sitemap.

Any ideas what might be causing this??

FYI, I am running vB 3.6.8 (no PL's) and I am about to upgrade to vB 3.6.9 in few days.
