SE Bots Activity Log Problem

I'm having a problem with SE Bots Activity Logging.

A new log file is created for each day but nothing gets written to it and I get the error below because the log file is empty. If I delete the log file for the current day it will be recreated and start logging activity. I've tried renaming the hits folder and creating a new one with chmod 777 and it's still not working.

The data/hits folder is chmod 777 and bot logging is enabled in the admincp. I have the latest version of vbseo sitemap and vbseo running with vb 3.6.2.

Make sure you are running the latest vBSEO, the latest vBSEO Sitemap, and make sure you have the vBSEO Sitemap data directory and all files in it set to 777 permissions.

When did you download vBSEO Sitemap 1.7?

I downloaded it about a week ago.

Please download it again when you get a chance (only because there were some additional fixes included; not related to your problem).

Can you open a support ticket with temporary FTP access to troubleshoot?

Looks like vbseo_sitemap_functions.php changed since then, I'll reinstall with a fresh version and see what happens.

I have installed the 1-6-1 sitemap generator. I just found this thread and looked in the downloads section and got the 1-7 sitemap generator. I run vB 3.6.4 as my forum. Should I install the 1-7 version? Will there be any problems? I found an article here about it, but it was written in April 06. Is there any current information?

I wonder why vBulletin-org had the 1-6-1 version of sitemap generator and not the 1-7 version?

Hello,

we suggest to install the latest version from downloads area. It is not the final v1.7 yet (currently it's RC4), that's why it has not been released at vb.org yet.
