I get no activity in the log. What am I doing wrong???

Make sure that you have corresponding option enabled in vbseocp and vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder permissions set to 0777.

Log Spider Activity in your Forums is set to Yes. The data folder is set to 777. I just don't know why it doesn't work.

Any other ideas???

Please open a support ticket with ftp access for troubleshooting.

Can I ask how this was resolved as I'm having the same problem.

We got no support ticket for this case yet.

I haven't submitted a ticket because I am just not that excited about giving ftp access.

You don't *have* to give ftp access for them to help you, though it does help expedite the process, and I've found the team here entirely trustworthy.

OK, quick update.

Entered a support ticket and the issue was resolved in a flash.

Top-line: make sure you have the latest version.

I am running 3.6.2 and vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator v.1.6.1. I have the lastest version of the sitemap generator. Was there anything else they did???

The latest version is now 1.7 - I was on 1.6.1

Thanks Tim. It seems to be working as designed now. Would be nice if they had updated vb.org. Also would have been nice if they were using the version checking. Could have known there was a new version out.

1.7 isn't a production release yet, which is why it is only available here. However, it is required if you are using vBSEO 3.0.0 (which also has not been released in final form as of yet).
