Problem with sitemap-AddOn

Hi!

I just installed an configured the sitemap generator addon, but it doesn't seems to work.
When I open http://forum.computerbetrug.de/vbseo_sitemap/ there is just an error page.

Do you have any clue how to fix this?

Sitemap generation works fine, but when I try to open the sitemap, there is an error
"Sitemap file not found".

There seems to be an error in redirection.

Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure that you have 0777 permissions set for vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder.

There are a lot of sitemap files in the data folder but it seems that they can't be accessed via redirection.

I don't if I expressed this right, I will try again:
If you open http://forum.computerbetrug.de/sitemap.xml there is a message "Sitemap file not found".
http://forum.computerbetrug.de/urllist.txt shows "Page not found"

This is in the data directory:

So I think that this is an redirection issue.

Correct sitemap URL is: http://forum.computerbetrug.de/sitemap_index.xml.gz

Ah, ok.

And do you have a clue why the URL http://forum.computerbetrug.de/vbseo_sitemap/ does not work?
I found this url in the documentation:

F. Access your vBSEO Google / Yahoo Sitemap Reports:

  1. Using your browser, visit: http://www.yoursite.com/vB-root/vbseo_sitemap/.
  2. Enter your vBSEO Sitemap Interface Access Password as defined in step D.

Perhaps your server is not configured to handle index.php as default script, so you can use http://forum.computerbetrug.de/vbseo_sitemap/index.php instead.

In this case it wouldn't be working to use the forum just with http://forum.computerbetrug.de/, would it?

No matter, I explicitely put these lines in the config:
Quote:
index-file.names = ( "index.php", "index.html",
"index.htm", "default.htm" )
It still doesn't work without the index.php in the URL.

BTW: if I remove redirection rules from the config file everything works fine, just as it should.
It definitely is a redirection issue.

I found a way:
if I add the folder to the redirection rules everything works fine

Quote:
"^(/(admincp|modcp|clientscript|cpstyles|images|custom avatars|vbseo_sitemap)/.*)$" => "$1",
If this happens to all users of lighthttp (which is think is that way) you should consider taking this into the documentation. Or have I overlooked something that messed everything up?
