A problem on 4.1.2

I'm using vb 4.1.2, i get a problem.
when i try to edit user registration option, i mark "Verify Email address in Registration" as yes. So basically register member will receive a mail for activate their account, but all the register member report to me that they didnt receive the mail yet, why??? urgent need assist
