no sitemap file
This is a discussion on no sitemap file within the Troubleshooting forums, part of the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap category; I installed vbseo sitemap yesterday, but I'm still not getting a sitemap generated.... http://www.4x4earth.com.au/forum/sitemap_index.xml Have I missed something? thanks!...

I installed vbseo sitemap yesterday, but I'm still not getting a sitemap generated.... http://www.4x4earth.com.au/forum/sitemap_index.xml Have I missed something? thanks!       |

Hello, try to generate it manually in vbseo_sitemap/ interface.

thanks for the quick reply..! Ok, i get a whole lot of errors... the first two being - Warning: gzopen(/home/ftp4x4/public_html/forum/vbseo_sitemap/data/sitemap_1.xml.gz) [function.gzopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/ftp4x4/public_html/forum/vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap_functions.php on line 579 Warning: gzopen(/home/ftp4x4/public_html/forum/vbseo_sitemap/data/urllist.txt.gz) [function.gzopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/ftp4x4/public_html/forum/vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap_functions.php on line 583 |

You should set 0777 permissions for data/ folder.
