SEO

i have installed this on my site but the only place i am seeing .gz files are at

forums/vbseo_sitemap/data/sitemap.txt.gz
forums/vbseo_sitemap/data/sitemap_1.xml.gz
forums/vbseo_sitemap/data/sitemap_index.xml.gz

why is this ? this should be unusual right ?? how do i get this into

www.domain.com/ or www.domain.com/forums/

i have my .htaccess in www.domain.com/forums/ ,
for admin sake my forum url is: http://www.360nigeria.com/forums

The .htaccess file makes the sitemaps "appear" to be in your forums directory, so that is the location that you should submit.

http://www.360nigeria.com/forums/sitemap_index.xml.gz

That link does not currently work though, so it appears that the .htaccess file is not working correctly.

I get a forbidden erorr here also:

So it appears that you may not have set the permissions properly on your data directory.

I have rechecked my installation again to ensure that there are no errors.
www.360nigeria.com/forums/vbseo_sitemap/data/ permissions sent to 777. Even Internal Server Error has been CHMOD to 777
However everthing is still like it was. I am at loss what steps to take next.
My .htaccess is also at www.360nigeria.com/forums/ and it is CHMOD 644

Make sure that your server supports mod_rewrite.
