Moved a thread and it changed the thread ID

Hi all,

I have recently installed vbSEO and today I had a strange problem happen. I wrote a thread in my test forum and then moved it into my public forum... when I moved it I selected "leave no redirect" - the problem was, the thread number changed to a new thread number... it was something like 170300 and it chaged to 170302 - now the original thread goes to a 404 page.

I am using [forum_title]/[thread_id]-[thread_title]/ for my thread redirects.

Can anyone tell me why this would be happening.

Thanks for any help.

Clancy

Actually the above doesn't go to a 404 page, it goes to the "
No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" page.

Hello,

in case if thread ID is changed, vBSEO cannot find the original thread with old ID.

But that's the question. Why did the thread ID change when the thread was moved?

I'm not sure, I believe it should not be related to vBSEO. Are you able to reproduce the issue?
