Moved Servers, Sitemaps Stopped

Hi,

I moved servers a few days ago and noticed my sitemaps are no longer being generated. I see the task in the task manager, and I CHMOD'd the /data folder to 777.

Any idea on whats going on? I deleted the files in /data and run them manually just fine. Not sure what to do.

Sounds like your old server chown's the directories.

I've always found it easiest to just make new folders

rename hits/ to oldhits/
data/ to olddata/
and downloads.dat to olddownloads.dat

New files/folder will be made on the fly next time you run it, expect for data... so make a data folder and chmod it to 777

I did the above, and manually ran the sitemap, and the /hits folder created itself after I made a new /data folder chmod 777. However, the sitemap is still not running. Are there any other things I need to check to make sure its setup properly?
