    Moved directory, sitemap_1.xml.gz not updated

    Hi,

I recently moved my forums from CHECKBOX® Forums to CHECKBOX® Forums, but the sitemap plugin doesn't seem to fully recongnize that.

http://www.checkbox.com/forums/sitemap_1.xml.gz still contains links to /community, but http://www.checkbox.com/forums/sitemap_2.xml.gz does not. I cannot find anywhere in the settings that is still configured for /community.

Any ideas where that might be coming from?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Sitemap 2.2 is extremely out of date and is not compatible with vb4. You should download and install sitemap 3.0 from the downloads area and follow the instructions to install. Also, you probably want to delete all the xml.gz files from the data/ folder before manually running it for the first time.

And also, since you are on 2.2, you should delete the sitemap task from the scheduled task manager BEFORE you import thr 3.0 product file, as the new versions will add the task automatically.

    Hi Brian,

I've done as you suggested and upgraded to 3.0. The upgrade was successful and I've generated the sitemap again, but the URLs still have /community in them.

    Thanks,

    James

Check your sitemap options to make sure you didn't specify a file location "Sitemap Files URL". 99.999% of the time, this should simply be left blank.

Thanks for your reply. The "Sitemap Files URL" is indeed blank, though.
