    Links posted in threads not redirecting to the site.

    Best way to show what i happeinging is to post the links

    Here is where link is suppose to go

    Patriotic Gifts - Occasions - The Popcorn Factory

    Here is where it is going when you click on the exact same link in my Forums threads: http://www.usafacommunity.com/forum/...ry.19763.70002

    This is happening with just about every outside link now. Does not happen every time you click on it but most. It is like it is getting hung up in the redirect. How do I fix?

    Hello, This is from the hide referrer in private forums in outgoing links option.

    general settings -> vbseo options

    This has been confirmed as a bug in the current build. A fix will be supplied in the next release.

    In the meantime, you can set that setting to "no"

    That might be related to Apache's mod_security module configuration, you can try to disabled that module (or ask your host to do that).

    BTW it does not happen all the time. So not sure if that matters.

    Setting it to no, the site that is being linked will be able to see the referrer of where they came from if they are monitoring it. Ie, it may give away site.com/mod-area/ as a url to them. It's not a huge deal at all.
