i installed all the files into my forum root as requested to....

This is a discussion on i installed all the files into my forum root as requested to.... within the Troubleshooting forums, part of the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap category; But i am still getting an error when i try to access my site map http://www.rapfeinds.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz look what it tells ...

But i am still getting an error when i try to access my site map

http://www.rapfeinds.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz

look what it tells me...
What can be wrong here?

Did you upload the .htaccess file and confirm that your server supports mod_rewrite? And, did you kick off the sitemap generator for a first-run, using the menu option on the vBSEO Sitemap menu?

whenever i upload the orginial htaccess file my forum stops working, so i decided to use the text one

The file must be called .htaccess for the server to process it. All you should have to do is upload it to your forum root if your server supports .htaccess

I seriously did that but it's still giving me this..

It's possible your site doesn't support .htaccess files. Check with your host.
