HTTP Error: 302 webmaster tools

Been looking at my webmaster tools and noticed several sitemap pages being flagged with the following message

HTTP Error: 302

URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL

I have just flat lined again with a drop of about 50% in traffic

Would another hacked code injection cause that error
After last year I have learned not to panic, nothing you can do until google plays the game again

Is it worth killing and regenerating the whole sitemap

That url is giving the 302 due to the $ being expanded out to %248 hex code.

You may want to change your char options to 'remove non-english...' so those issues don't occur.

It shouldn't effect anything but that single url.

Is it a case of removing the non English characters and then redoing the site map or will the site map over write those urls automatically on the next generation

it will auto correct when it runs again, but you can always do it manually to force it to happen sooner.
