htaccess file problem / vbseo problem

Something happened last night to the htaccess file , it threw off the 'path' for images, so that images coded as ../xxx.jpg ( meaning www.yyy,com/xxx.jpg) were instead being translated as (www. yyy. com/FORUM/ xxx.jpg <== the spaces are mine) all such image sources were invalid. For some reason the FORUM part was being thrrown into the path.

When I renamed the htaccess file (in essence leaving NO .htaccess file) everything worked again.

Normally during the course of a night, I will get about 50 vbseo emails about updates. Last night was odd in that I only received about 10 and I have never received less than 30 or so. Not sure if that is related or not. But to me, almost seems like something happened in the middle of processing.

Anyway, vbseo is now dead in the water until i can resolve this.

Any ideas??

this email is not sent by vBSEO, but vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator which you have installed at your forums.

However, you should get only one email daily, if you are getting many update email every day, there must be a configuration problem in vB admincp->Schedule Manager. Please make sure that you DON'T have "minutes" option set to "*" for the generator task (this option should have value of "0" or other, but not "*").

1. How come I never receive an email like this from Yahoo?
