vBulletin 4.x how to redirect or avoid forum.php

Hi,

I`ve just updated from 3.8.4 to 4.0.1 and vBSEO 3.5.0 RC2. When I enter myforum.de/forum, I`m redirected to myforum.de/forum/forum.php

In vbseo CP I added forum.php to

setting_VBSEO_HOMEPAGE_ALIASES

but that didn't help.

Could you please explain me how to avoid forum.php and instead link to /forum/ like it was in 3.8.4?

Hi Sacha,

You should:-

1. Rename index.php to index_old.php
2. Rename forum.php to index.php
3. In vB options -> Forum URL settings -> Forum Script Name
4. Set it to index
5. In setting_VBSEO_HOMEPAGE_ALIASES set index.php and index.php?

This will give you the results you want.
