How to Add Keyword Manually ?

I am using VBSEO 3.5 something RC, i dnt know correct name, anyways.
I have installed it and it is running as default settings,

Problem is google is not upgrading my ranking even after installing VBSEO. i dont know undersatnd why.
My website contains quality and numerous posts, still google failed to do so.

I think KEYWORDS is the problem, Kindly anyone tell me HOW KEYWORDS works at website via VBSEO ?
DOES VBSEO update KEYWORDS automatically ? or Should we put them manually ?

I want to know how to ADD KEYWORDS manually, so GOOGLE search my WEBSITE easily..

google and most other engines ignore keywords now in meta tags.

Just concentrate on your on link building and forget about the rest
