Google says 0 indexed URLs

I use vbSEO 3.3 RC2 and its sitemap generator version 2.5. In Google webmaster tools, I find that, the number of indexed URLs is always less than the total URLs. Today when i checked it, i find that the number of indexed URLs is 0 !!! while the total URLs is 396.

I have optimized vbSEO settings based on various recommendations in the vbseo forums. Kindly help me in finding out and solving this problem. Any reason for Google to show 0 indexed URLs?

If the sitemap was just submitted, it will show 0. It takes about 6 hours or so for it to re-calculate based off the new sitemap.

Keep in mind, the sitemap is merely a 'suggestion of links' for google to follow. You will likely NEVER see 100% of your links in it.

The sitemap was generated yesterday and its more than 8 hours now. Google webmaster tools -> sitemap shows the following:

sitemap_index.xml.gz
Sitemap Index8 hours agoOK396

But sitemap info shows:

Sitemap stats
Total URLs: 396
Indexed URLs: 0

I understand that all links in sitemap need not be indexed by Google, but 0 appears strange!
