Google Ping Failed

This is a discussion on Google Ping Failed within the Troubleshooting forums, part of the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap category; I'm getting this error every time sitemaps are generated. Any ideas? Thanks!...

Google Ping Failed
I'm getting this error every time sitemaps are generated.

Any ideas?

Hello George,

it is possible that network connections are not allowed for php scripts at your host. In this case (and it's suggested in any case), you should manually submit sitemaps to the google webmaster account: http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/siteoverview
